Since 2012, the requirements set out in the Fire Precautions (Designated Premises) (Jersey) Regulations have required the responsible personnel for a variety of property types to undertake regular fire security testing, maintenance, servicing & record keeping.

Gerard McGonigle set up Vanguard Fire Security in 2020 with the view to providing a service that not only provides their customers with the ultimate peace-of-mind that their property's fire systems are fit for purpose, but also to keep them secure in the knowledge that they are compliant in respect of their obligations to the Jersey Fire & Rescue Department in all aspects of required record keeping, servicing documentation requirements and maintenance handling.
